Melbourne five-piece Jade Imagine offer a stunningly seamless blend of synthwave and art-rock. After signing with Milk! Records, Jade Imagine’s debut EP ‘What the Fuck Was I Thinking’ was released in April 2017. Rolling Stone Australia described the lo-fi gem ‘Stay Awake’, one of the EP’s singles, as “a shimmering summer-invite track”, its lowkey, lethargic, insomniac energy perfect for an impossibly hot afternoon.

Jade Imagine have secured incredible support slots including shows with 80s royalty The Pretenders (UK), Angel Olsen (US), Benjamin Booker (US), Alvvays (US), Lucy Dacus (US), Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Stella Donnelly, Julia Jacklin and Phantastic Ferniture. In March 2018 the band showcased at the prestigious SXSW music conference in Austin, Texas as well as playing key shows in Los Angeles and New York City. Jade Imagine toured the UK supporting Julia Jacklin in November 2018, and then again supporting Pond in November 2019. Their debut album ‘Basic Love’ was released in August 2019, on Milk! Records and Marathon Artists. Pilerats called the album “a spectacular return to form”, with The Australian describing it as “blessed with sinewy rhythm section...cool-headed and streamlined”. Basic Love was awarded with Album Of The Week on Triple R Radio (VIC), The Edge Radio (TAS), and Radio Adelaide (SA), received glowing reviews from The Australian to The Big Issue, and was long-listed for the prestigious AMP Album prize.

In June 2020, Jade Imagine will be releasing EP ‘You Remind Me Of Something I Lost’, a compelling collection of sparse, introspective tracks typical of their signature mix of art-rock, pop and new wave
